The filtration efficiency of the filter element determines the filtration accuracy, while the pollution capacity and pressure difference characteristics will affect the service life of the filter element.
When selecting filters, it is important to consider the flow factor, especially the system return oil filter. On the one hand, the actual flow rate of the return oil filter itself is not stable, and at the same time, in some areas with large temperature differences in the working environment, the viscosity of the hydraulic oil itself has significant changes. If only selected according to the nominal flow rate, it will lead to the occurrence of blockage signals when operating the equipment in winter. In practice, there is no blockage or even a new filter element.
Therefore, the return oil shaped filter element should be selected at a flow rate of 1.5 times or more based on the calculation of flow rate. For pumping stations that do not use separate circulating cooling but utilize the main pump (usually a quantitative pump) for unloading or system return oil cooling, the return oil filter element becomes an important component of the cleanliness of the hydraulic pumping station system. Sufficient redundancy should be reserved in terms of flow rate and pollutant capacity, and multiple oil filters should be selected to achieve better results.
Secondly, filter manufacturers have stated that in the selection of hydraulic pump stations, planning filters reasonably based on the specific situation of the system can greatly reduce equipment failure rates and extend equipment lifespan by achieving good pollution control of the system. In the planning, the selection of two or more components with the same parameter should try to choose the same type as much as possible, making it more convenient for equipment to manage spare parts and replace them during use.
